The consortium of European University of the Seas – SEA-EU, whose partner is the University of Gdańsk, received funds for the project: “reinforce SustainablE Actions, resilience, cooperation and harmonization across and by the SEA-EU Alliance – reSEArch-EU” under the Horizon program 2020.
The project’s budget is EUR 2 million, of which over 318,000 euro will be allocated to the University of Gdańsk – the leader of the WP3 Bridging the Gap with Innovation Ecosystem package.
The main tasks of the Gdańsk university will include the development of a virtual Center for Technology Development in order to analyze management practices related to intellectual property law, building a training program to develop entrepreneurial awareness and competences among scientists, and creating a SEA-INNOVATE HUB – a platform integrating the activities of scientists and business with the scope of innovation development.
