Contest for children “Science for You”

15.10.2018

Ten teams of pupils competed in the finals of the “Science for You” contest. Nearly 1,000 participants from all over Poland took part in it. The children, under the supervision of teachers, conducted their own research, answered the scientific questions and verified the hypotheses. Five teams will receive prizes from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and Higher Education Jarosław Gowin on a special gala on October 23.

Within the competition prototypes of a puddler, an electronic ear or an air tunnel were created. The puddler is a scientific tool prepared by pupils of the Social Primary School No. 2 in Warsaw, whose aim is to visualize the move of waves in the water. The pupils of the SKRZYDŁA Primary School in Lublin together with the teachers developed a prototype of an electronic ear.
