The Naval Academy in Gdynia was visited by a delegation from the Ukrainian Heroes Kruta Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics from Kyiv. The purpose of the visit was to sign an agreement on cooperation in the areas of cyber security, information technology and automation and robotics.
The delegation learned about selected elements of the teaching base of the Gdynia-based university, including the Academic Training Centre in Chernica. The visit took place within the framework of the NATO Defence Education Enhancement Programme. The programme is a reform tool that provides support to individual NATO partner countries in developing and reforming their military and defence education institutions.
The institute, which is located in the historic centre of Kyiv, trains officers for the entire Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Security Service, the Intelligence and Counterintelligence Service, the National Guard, the State Border Service, the State Space Agency Service and the State Special Transport Service.
