The West Pomeranian University of Technology (ZUT) in Szczecin and the Northern Chamber of Commerce (PIG) have signed a letter of intent for cooperation. The document was signed by the rector of the university, Prof. Jacek Wróbel, and the president of the chamber, Hanna Mojsiuk.

The partners announced activities aimed at strengthening and diversifying key activities leading to economic growth, increasing the competitiveness and innovation of West Pomeranian companies and strengthening the region’s scientific and research potential.

Among other things, it was planned that there will be an ongoing exchange of experience in the commercialisation of scientific research and other key areas for the development of entrepreneurship and innovation in the voivodship, as well as the co-organisation and promotion of various forms of adult education, particularly for the benefit of Chamber member companies. Students, graduates and research and teaching staff of ZUT will benefit from PGI’s services to the extent necessary to start a business.
