The Warsaw University of Technology signed a framework cooperation agreement with Veolia Energia Warszawa. The document was signed on behalf of the company by Jacky Lacombe – president of the board, general director of Veolia Energy Warsaw and by the Prof. Eng. Jan Szmidt, rector of the Warsaw University of Technology.

According to the provisions of the agreement, internships for students and PhD students will be launched. Both entities will organize scientific and technical conferences, symposia and seminars, as well as prepare publications and competitions.

The activities of the Warsaw University of Technology and Veolia Energia Warszawa will also be carried out in the field of research and development of new technologies, with particular focus on the energy efficiency of urban and industrial systems, including the Intelligent District Heating.
