Cooperation to improve air transport safety

Lazarski University in Warsaw and the State Commission for the Investigation of Aircraft Accidents (PKBWL) have signed an agreement on cooperation. This is the next stage of joint efforts to improve the level of safety in air transport.

As part of the cooperation, joint research projects will be carried out in the area of scientific disciplines and fields of study conducted by the Faculty of Law and Administration at Lazarski University, in particular the Institute of Aviation and Space Law. 

The signed cooperation agreement envisages lasting cooperation in many areas. The Lazarski students will undertake internships and apprenticeships at PKBWL and cooperate with the Commission in writing their theses. One of the forms of cooperation in scientific and research areas will be implementation doctorates. Joint lectures and talks will also be organised.

The agreement was signed by Dr Anna Konert, Professor at Łazarski University, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration at Łazarski University, Director of the Institute of Aviation and Space Law and Bogusław Trela, Chairman of the State Commission for the Investigation of Aviation Accidents.
