Until 11 June 2019, Poles can apply for the Mission Boards of the Horizon Europe program. Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin invites Poles to be part of this venture.
Horizon Europe is the largest research and innovation funding program in the history of Europe. It can be participated by all European citizens, not just scientists and entrepreneurs. Currently, people EU citizens can apply for the Mission Boards. Each mission will be a group of 15 people who will control the achievement of goals.
According to the Ministry of Science, 5 European missions for future generations were selected in a long consultative and analytical process: Climate change, Oncology, Healthy land, Clean oceans and seas, Smart cities.
-We want Poles to be part of this ambitious undertaking. We want the most courageous, open and innovative people from Poland to participate in the missions and help Europe make a giant step for humanity – said Jarosław Gowin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and Higher Education.
