Deputy Prime Minister Gowin visits the State Higher Vocational School in Chełm

Jarosław Gowin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and Higher Education, visited the State Higher Vocational School in Chełm, where he signed a grant for over PLN 16 million for Chelm High School. The funds will be used to build a concrete runway at the airport of the Chelm School.

– I am fully aware that the costs of construction works have recently increased, therefore the ministry is prepared to allocate additional funds for this venture,”- said Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin. During the press conference, he also expressed the opinion that “every zloty invested in the State Higher Vocational School in Chełm will be used to the maximum benefit for the local community.”

The concrete runway will be 1020 meters long and will be used not only by the training pilots, but also by aviation companies and the entire region. The Chelm Vocational School is also planning to build a new hangar for the renovation and inspection of aircraft.
