The Smart Home Grenton system laboratory was opened at the Department of Electrical Equipment of the Lodz University of Technology. It will enable students to learn the concept, design and programming of building management systems.

The laboratory is the result of cooperation between the University and the Krakow-based company Grenton, one of the leading designers and producers of innovative building automation systems. The laboratory has been equipped with Grenton drivers, which allows students to visualize the effects of the system in the real object.

Smart Home Grenton will be included in the first in Poland program of studies Intelligent Building Control Systems, which allows students to obtain interdisciplinary competencies required for effective designing, programming and integration of management systems in intelligent and energy-efficient buildings.
