Digital revolution in the library of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences

03.07.2018

The Main Library of the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław launches new instruments that will allow the academic community to more easily use and search resources.

The new instruments are a multi search engine – one “window” for searching library resources – and HAN (Hidden Automatic Navigator), new remote access to e-resources. The existing library card will be replaced by the employee ID card.

Thanks to the multi-search engine, the users can search all printed and electronic resources in one place, get search results, access full texts of electronic books, magazines and databases, order books from all catalogs and check the status of their library account.

The HAN system will provide access to electronic resources in the network and outside the university network to employees, PhD students and students of the university. It is available 24/7 from anywhere in the world and works on computers and smartphones.
