The constructors of the Department of Ocean Engineering and Shipbuilding of the Maritime University of Szczecin are creating an ecological unmanned ship. The unit’s hull is created, the drive will soon be installed and tests will begin on the water. Photovoltaic cells and fuel cells will be used for power supply.

In parallel with the construction of the model, also laboratory work on an autonomous control system is underway. Once completed, the system will be installed in the ship. The tests will begin at the experimental pool of the Maritime University of Szczecin.

After the successful completion of tests with autonomous control, another model of the unmanned vehicle will be built and tests will be carried out to provide the exchange of information between floating unmanned ships.
