Dr Kamila Duś-Szachniewicz associated with the Chair and Department of Pathomorphology of the Medical University in Wroclaw becomes a laureate of the Polish Intelligent Development Award in the category “Innovative young science leader” for the project “The use of innovative technology of optical pliers for the development of low-invasive targeted lymphoma therapy”.

The prestigious award was won by the most innovative projects implemented under EU and national programs by Polish scientific institutions, institutions and companies involved in research and development, which contribute to the sustainable development of Poland.
Dr Duś-Szachniewicz’s project was financed in 2015-2018 by the National Center for Research and Development as part of the LIDER program. The project obtained two patents and two applications for the inventions.
