On 26 and 27 September, the European Technology Forum will be held in Katowice, during which a group of specialists will discuss European research and technology policy. Plenary sessions and four thematic conferences are planned, including the “Industry 4.0” conference organized by the Silesian University of Technology.
The main goal of the Forum is to discuss the priorities of European science and technology policy and funding mechanisms for research and technological development, in particular those planned for implementation under the Horizon Europe program.
Experts will discuss the promotion of creating different types of networks and partnerships – both by industry, science, and public authorities – to avoid duplication of efforts and set common research and development goals. During the event, the goals of the Responsible Development Strategy for Poland in the field of research and innovation by 2020 and 2030, will also be presented.
