The Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) has launched the first call for proposals in the Proof of Concept action, which is funded by the European Funds for the Modern Economy 2021-2027 Programme. The call will run until 7 September 2023.
The Proof of Concept (PoC) action aims to support researchers in verifying the market potential of their discoveries and is aimed at researchers at any stage of their scientific career, including those who have not yet obtained a degree.
Funding can be obtained for research and development work aimed at verifying the research hypothesis set out in the application. The research carried out should result in progress on the path to commercialisation of the project.
The thematic scope of projects that may receive funding is not limited to individual fields of science but refers to the priorities included in the list of National Intelligent Specialisations.
One project can receive funding of a maximum of PLN 700,000.
