The Stanisław Staszic State Higher School in Piła became the beneficiary of the Polish-American scientific exchange. In the 2020/2021 academic year, the school will host a Fulbright scholarship holder, majoring in English Philology.

The Fulbright Program is the United States’ largest scientific and cultural exchange program. It is considered by many to be one of the most prestigious exchange programs in the world, with a reputation well known beyond academic society.

For over 75 years, the Fulbright Program has supported cooperation for the development of science, culture, and interpersonal and inter-institutional relations between the United States and over 160 countries.

The program operates in Poland thanks to grants of the Ministry of Education and Science and the US Department of State. The activity would be impossible without close cooperation with Polish and American institutions of higher education and donors’ support.
