Gaming industry in Poland to receive nearly PLN 105 million

The National Center for Research and Development (NCBR) announced the results of the 3rd competition for the largest support program for the gaming industry (GameINN) in Poland. Companies creating innovative solutions will receive nearly PLN 105 million in funding.

The National Center for Research and Development will support the projects: Development of a platform for creating field games based on an AR game engine that creates a map of the real world together with an application that allows users to send data; Test and training platform for verification of practical skills in the workplace and professional development using VR and AI technologies; Construction of an engine for the wheeled motor vehicles and generating charts based on artificial intelligence algorithms; Innovative game simulating the management of real production processes using an innovative gameplay model based on the interaction of the virtual world with the real world using the concept of industry 4.0.

The goal of the GameINN sector program is to increase the competitiveness of the Polish video game producers sector on the global market by 2023.
