PGE Baltica, the company responsible for the implementation of the PGE Group Offshore Programme, will be a partner of the 6th postgraduate programme Offshore Wind Energy conducted at the Gdansk University of Technology. The letter of intent paves the way for other forms of cooperation that will benefit the Offshore Wind Energy Competence Centre created by PGE.
“The offshore wind energy sector in Poland will be one of the most dynamically developing in the whole Polish economy only if we manage to effectively combine the capabilities and competences of scientific centres with industry and business in this field”, said Professor Krzysztof Wilde, rector of the Gdansk University of Technology.
The partners are also discussing the creation of another course of study in offshore. They are also discussing the possibility of cooperation in engineering studies, training, workshops, study visits for secondary school students and scientific and research initiatives related to PGE Group’s maritime projects.
