The Faculty of Architecture at Gdansk University of Technology is implementing the project Liveability – Designing public services for resilient neighbourhoods. The project has received funding from the Interreg Baltic Sea Region 2021-2027 programme.

The main objective of the project is to enable public authorities in small and medium-sized cities to co-create urban spaces more effectively with users of public services in different sectors, in order to improve living conditions. The project consortium is made up of 11 entities, including from Estonia, Denmark, Latvia and Poland.

In the project, liveability depends on an integrated and sustainable approach to different elements of the city, such as greenery, architecture, socio-cultural life, and requires a joint effort and cooperation from politicians, administration, citizens and other key stakeholders. Gdańsk University of Technology’s role will be to create an evaluation system for inclusive policies and projects based on public service design.
