Kosciuszko Foundation to offer the 19th Witold Lipski Prize for young computer scientists

The Kosciuszko Foundation has announced the start of accepting applications for the 19th Witold Lipski Prize, which is awarded to talented young scientists with outstanding scientific achievements in the field of computer science and its applications.

The prize was established by a group of Polish computer scientists working abroad in 2005 and commemorates Witold Lipski, a pioneer of Polish computer science and an outstanding scientist with very broad research interests. 

The prize is awarded for outstanding scientific achievements in two categories: theoretical aspects of computer science and applications of computer science.

The Kosciuszko Foundation, in agreement with the Award Committee, established the amount of the award in the 19th competition, not less than PLN 50,000 in each category.

The competition, for which the deadline for applications is 31 March 2023, is addressed to scientists who are under 35 years of age, who hold Polish citizenship and reside permanently in Poland.
