An international consortium of universities and organisations from Poland and Norway has developed the PULA application. It will enable Gdansk residents to benefit from changing their habits, taking local initiatives and other sustainable development activities.

PULA was created as part of the Greencoin project and is currently benefiting from a €1.62 million grant received from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under European Economic Area funds. The aim of the project is to create a system for promoting green behaviour through an alternative virtual currency. In this case, these are Good Coins.

PULA rewards with Good Coins the use of sustainable transport, the cleaning of public places, the development of green spaces, the use of local circular economy services. The alternative currency can be used to purchase vouchers for attractive products, services and discounts from local partners.
