Gdansk University of Technology (PG) has been awarded the HR Excellence in Research distinction for the next three years. The right to use the HR logo is awarded by the European Commission to institutions working to improve the attractiveness of working conditions and career development of researchers.
“The distinction of HR Excellence is a confirmation of quality and high standards in creating the best possible conditions for scientific work and research and development at the Gdansk University of Technology. We implement the principles described in the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct in order to offer our employees stable employment, opportunities for professional development, take care of work-life balance and counteract discrimination, as well as to strengthen the internationalisation of our academic staff. The European Commission has appreciated our commitment to the process and has recognised the development of our human resources policy and many new initiatives”, says Prof. Dariusz Mikielewicz, PG’s pro-rector for organisation and development.
