Students of the Gdansk University of Technology will take part in three Formula Student competitions. With the new, seventh-generation car they will appear on tracks in Italy, Germany and Poland. Before the season, the constructors presented their new car, the PGR-07.
This year, the new vehicle features various innovative solutions. The car has a new exhaust and intake system, and the tyre profile has been changed. Significant changes have also been made to the vehicle’s superstructure. The solutions are expected to contribute to making the car lighter, stronger and more reliable.
Regardless of the development of the combustion car, the group is working on an electric vehicle – the goal for this season is to create a battery that will provide power and meet the strict regulations. As Wiktoria Sadłowska, marketing specialist for the PGRacing Team, points out, working on both the combustion and electric car at the same time was quite a challenge.
