The diploma thesis of Martyna Słowińska from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology won the Hustle Hub – Youth Housing Design Competition ’19: Russia. Her task as a participant was to design a co-living facility for young people with an active lifestyle, unwilling to be attached to one place.
Hubs should be a place with affordable flats, providing sufficient living space for young people who do not want to take a mortgage, work on several-year contracts and after completing them move to another city or country or are just developing their careers otherwise and do not want to bind with a specific place.
Designed by Martyna Słowińska buildings have six floors, an underground car park and a ground floor with a flexible solutions. The facilities would enable and encourage the integration of residents. They would be small private spaces with various types of common spaces.
