Graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics wins the prize of the British think tank

The British think tank Institute for Progressive Policy Research (IPRE) awarded the graduate of Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) in Warsaw Agata Makowska for her report “Decentralising Britain: The ‘big push’ towards inclusive prosperity”. It deals with the state of the British economy and ideas for its faster development.

SGH graduate team in the IPPR Economics Prize competition received the main prize (ex aequo) in the amount of 50,000 pounds. Agata Makowska, thanked the university: “I am proud to inform you about my recent achievement, which I owe largely to the education gained during the undergraduate studies in the direction of the MONTH (quantitative methods in economics and information systems) at the Warsaw School of Economics. As a several-time winner of the SGH rector’s scholarship, I would like to thank my lecturers for their hard work and support that I received during my studies. “
