Graduate of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology becomes a laureate of the competition of the Association of Polish Engineers and Technicians

19.11.2019

The thesis of Tomasz Targosz, a graduate of the mechanical faculty of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, won the Wrocław competition of the Association of Polish Engineers and Technicians.

The laureate worked in the testing department of Sitech and there he developed from scratch a measuring stand for the analysis of the functional properties of a manual car backrest tilt regulator. His work enabled to carry out a comprehensive analysis of the functional properties of the regulator (dependencies between physical properties such as torque, angular speed, angle of rotation in the backrest regulator, as well as the angular speed and angle of the backrest itself).

The new stand is also more automated. The worker fixes the backrest of the chair and connects the whole system with the motor and sensor to it, and during the measurement does not even need to touch the device. The previous apparatus required manual data processing.
