New laboratories of the Institute of Agricultural Engineering of the University of Life Sciences in Wroclaw

The University of Life Sciences in Wrocław has gained eleven didactic and scientific laboratories. A new building of the Institute of Agricultural Engineering was opened on the Biskupin campus.

The new labs include a prototype workshop, a drying laboratory, biomass and waste, soil center agrophysics, plant technology and protection, and traction tests labs. The new premises also houses the Training Center of Plant Protection Techniques.

The facility belongs to the Institute of Agricultural Engineering, but the nature of the work carried out in the laboratories is part of interdisciplinary research not only of agriculture and horticulture, but also food and nutrition technology or the field of engineering and technical sciences. The reconstruction of the former garage building for teaching purposes cost over PLN 6 million.
