From 8 May, applications can be submitted for this year’s ‘Implementation PhD’ programme. The initiative enables research to be carried out simultaneously with the implementation of its results in a specific business entity. Applications in the new round will be accepted until 5 June 2023, informs the Ministry of Education and Science.
The ‘Implementation PhD 2023’ programme consists of three modules:
“Implementation PhD I” under which the preparation of doctoral dissertations in a field other than that specified by “Implementation PhD II” is supported;
“Implementation Doctorate II – Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Technologies” with doctoral students conducting research activities in the field of the use of artificial intelligence in technological or social processes, including related to cyber security;
“Implementation PhD III – metrology” with PhD students pursuing research activities in the use of metrology in technological or social processes, including those related to the development of digital technologies and cutting-edge technologies in the areas of health, environment, energy and advanced measurement techniques.
