27.09.2018

Applications for the 12th “Antiquarian League” – an educational program for secondary school students from the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship will be accepted until October 5. The event is co-organized by the Chair of Classical Philology at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.

The league has the form of a competition. Its aim is to popularize knowledge about ancient culture, to stimulate and deepen interest in antiquity and to shape among young people the awareness of common European tradition. Classes are scheduled for one Saturday per month from October 2018 to May 2019 (except December). The program provides for 7 meetings in the buildings of the Nicolaus Copernicus University.

The series is organized thanks to the cooperation of university classical philologists, the Toruń branch of the Polish Philological Society, the Traditio Europae Foundation and the Marshal’s Office of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship.
