International scientists working under the direction of Dr Grzegorz Kwiatkowski, Koszalin University of Technology, obtained almost 225 thousand PLN under the “Intervention Grants” program for the implementation of the project “Resilience of the meetings industry in times of uncertainty”.
Scientists will investigate how the coronavirus epidemic has affected the functioning of the meetings industry. They will try to find an answer what to do to make this sector profitable again in the conditions of sanitary restrictions. The work will result in a series of scientific publications, workshops for representatives of the event industry and a set of recommendations on adapting the industry to the “new reality”.
The aim of the “Intervention Grants” program of the National Agency for Academic Exchange is to support international cooperation of research teams undertaken in response to sudden, important, unforeseen social, civilization and natural phenomena with global or regionally significant consequences.
