Jagiellonian University graduates top in entrance exams for legal applications

Graduates of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków achieved the best results in the entrance examinations for legal applications in Poland. 80.8 % of them passed the exam. The second best result was achieved by students of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (74.1 %). Next in the ranking were graduates of the University of Warsaw (71 %) and the University of Silesia in Katowice (69.1 %). Among universities with a smaller number of students, the best results were achieved by graduates of the Kraków University of Economics- 67.7 % of them passed the exam successfully.

In 2023, 6058 students from 54 Polish HEIs (25 public and 29 non-public) and 8 foreign HEIs took the entrance examinations for attorney, legal advisor, notary and bailiff applications. 3667 passed the examinations, i.e. 60.5 % of the candidates. Meanwhile, 2542 of the 5716 law graduates who will graduate in 2023 took the exams. This means that graduate interest in applications has been at a similar level for several years, with around 40-44 % of law graduates taking them.
