The Department of European Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, together with the Institute of Law and Economics of the Pedagogical University of Krakow are organizing a scientific conference on May 12-13, 2021, “E-administration. Effective, responsible and open public administration in the European Union”.

The conference’s agenda includes the analysis of the implementation and functioning of e-administration in Poland and in Europe, with particular emphasis on the impact of electronization on openness, responsibility, as well as the rationality and effectiveness of public administration.

The conference is interdisciplinary and deals with such areas as law, economics, administration science, management, history of administrative law and administration.

The aim of the conference is to analyze e-administration from the point of view of current changes and trends in Polish, EU and European administrative law, organization and management in public administration, concepts, priorities and actions of the authorities, as well as relations between representatives of public administration and citizens, historical and the socio-political determinants of changes in public administration resulting from its
