The Center for Chinese Language and Culture of the Jagiellonian University, the Confucius Institute in Krakow is opening the application process for summer on-line courses for beginners in two groups – Ganbian (classes from June 28 to July 30) and Doufu (classes from August 2 to September 3).

On-line lessons will be conducted alternately by a Polish teacher who will translate grammar and the use of vocabulary and a Chinese native speaker who primarily practices pronunciation and listening comprehension with the students. Classes will be held via the MS Teams application, and participants will receive all materials for the classes online.

The material during the 30 hours of the course will include: the basics of the Chinese language, building basic sentences in Chinese, basic polite phrases, introducing yourself (name, age, nationality), family vocabulary, giving dates and describing basic learning activities.
