The National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) hosted a meeting of a joint Austrian-Polish working group on the selection of applications submitted in this year’s call for Joint Research Projects with Austria.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Austrian Agency for Education and Internationalisation (ÖeAD), the Ministry of Education and Science, the Austrian Cultural Forum and NAWA. The meeting was an opportunity to exchange information and experiences on previous cooperation within the framework of Joint Research Projects from previous years and NAWA programmes aimed at individuals and institutions.
Calls for Joint Research Projects are announced by NAWA in agreement with partner institutions from 11 countries in Europe and Asia.
According to NAWA, a total of 15 projects representing the scientific disciplines of life sciences, engineering and technology, medicine, agriculture, social sciences and humanities have been selected in the two calls concluded so far, with 12 institutions from Austria and 15 from Poland as beneficiaries.
