The Lodz Solar Team from the Lodz University of Technology has become an Eco-innovative Student Project, the Eco-Energy Science Club from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow won the title of the Eco-Innovative Science Club, and Katarzyna Suchorowiec from AGH, in the Student Eco-Innovator category, won a competition organized by the Institute for Sustainable Energy.
SKN Eko-Energia, operating at the Faculty of Energy and Fuels of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, became the ECO-Innovative Science Club. The jury appreciated the entirety of the activities in recent years. Students created, among others WINDY wind turbine with an integrated system that allows users to adjust the wind speed in the turbine volume by using a diffuser with a variable diameter.
The Lodz Solar Team, an initiative of students of the Lodz University of Technology within the SKN of Automotive Enthusiasts of the Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Lodz University of Technology, was recognized as the Eco-innovative Student Project. For 6 years, they have been successfully working on the construction of solar-powered vehicles.
In the Student EKOinnowator category, the winner was Eng. Katarzyna Suchorowiec, a graduate of biomedical engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics, Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering at AGH.
