Koszalin University of Technology to launch laboratory of installations and devices powered by energy from renewable sources

The Koszalin University of Technology will equip a modern laboratory where students of schools cooperating with the university will be able to learn about the design and operation principles of installations and devices powered by energy from renewable sources (RES). 

In the laboratory, future designers and contractors of the investment will learn how construction installations may work with devices based on renewable energy sources, how to properly install such devices and observe how they work. The laboratory will have stands equipped with tools and devices for the practical learning of assembly, operation and testing the effects of cooperation of a hybrid heating system for the hot water, central heating and ventilation with devices powered by renewable energy.

The total cost of creating the laboratory is PLN 140,000. Half of it will be covered by the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Szczecin.
