Krakow University launches new intellectual property and new technologies studies

The Jagiellonian University has established cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), which is an agency of the United Nations and the Polish Patent Office.

Vice-rector of the University responsible for research and structural funds, Prof. Stanisław Kistryn, director of the World Intellectual Property Organization Academy based in Geneva Sherif Saadallah, and the President of the Patent Office, Dr. Alicja Adamczak, signed a letter of intent. The document provides for the launch of the second Master’s program “Intellectual Property and New Technologies” in English at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University.

The new direction is addressed to both Polish and foreign students. It will increase the attractiveness of the teaching offer and will increase the internationalization level of the Kraków university.
