Krakow University of Technology laboratories to produce disinfectant liquid

Krakow University of Technology (PK) donated 300 liters of hand disinfectant liquid produced in university laboratories in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization to medical facilities and social welfare homes from Kraków and around.

The main part of the production will be received by institutions providing 24-hour care for the elderly, the sick and the disabled, through the Municipal Social Welfare Center (MOPS) in Krakow.

The liquid was also transported to the National Oncology Institute – Branch in Krakow, cooperating with the Krakow MOPS Siemach’s Association, caring for 100 children in 24-hour facilities, and the Alma Spei Hospice, providing palliative and hospice care for children from Region of Lesser Poland in their homes.

The production of hand disinfectant liquid is one of the charity initiatives of the #PKpomaga campaign. As part of it, it also produced protective helmets, printed by employees and PK students and volunteers that have already been transported to over 60 medical organizations.
