The development of sustainable mobility in the framework of joint research projects, the organisation of didactic trips, internships and apprenticeships for students, the exchange of specialist knowledge and experience, the organisation of symposia, conferences and training courses are the main fields of cooperation between the Krakow University of Technology (PK) and the BorgWarner Krakow Technical Centre.

The agreement on cooperation was signed by the rector of the Krakow University of Technology, Prof. Andrzej Szarata, Prof. Maciej Sułowicz, dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Krakow University of Technology, and Agata Marcinowska-Zaręba, board member of BorgWarner eMobility Poland and Paweł Czernecki, Site Manager BorgWarner Krakow.

“The BorgWarner Krakow Technical Centre was established in 2022 to provide comprehensive development of power electronics components for automotive vehicles with a particular focus on inverters and integrated electric drive systems”, says Paweł Czernecki, Site Manager BorgWarner Krakow.  “We are developing engineering teams based on experts with domain knowledge, but equally important for us is the potential and willingness to deepen our knowledge in the field of electromobility”, he adds.
