Krakow University to hold a conference on the relations between politics and the media in the light of scientific research

The Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Economics and Humanities in Warsaw and the Institute of Journalism and Social Communication of the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow organize the National Scientific Conference “Politics and the media. Media and politics in Poland in the 20th and 21st century”. The event will take place on November 14 in Krakow.

Prominent political scientists, media experts and historians will take part in the deliberations and discussions. The meeting will be an attempt to answer the question about the obvious and long-standing relations of politics with the media in the light of scientific research. The first part of the conference along with the discussion will be led by the editor Bernard Margueritte.

The conference will begin with a lecture by prof. dr hab. Rafał Habielski from the University of Warsaw entitled “Media and politics. The case of Radio Free Europe”.
