A Laboratory for Environmental Research and New Materials has been opened at the Jan Długosz University of Humanities and Sciences in Częstochowa. It will carry out research in the field of environmental monitoring and for the needs of the pharmaceutical, food, construction and agricultural industries.
The laboratory is expected to contribute to increasing the competitiveness and innovativeness of enterprises by facilitating access to scientific information, creating a network for cooperation and exchange of experience, involving entrepreneurs in the research process and developing joint strategies for new technologies and products.
The laboratory includes a calorimeter, chromatographs (liquid and gas) and a decomposition analyser. Researchers will carry out work here in the field of materials production and processing, technologies for environmental protection, polymeric materials and composites for medicine and energy, as well as agriculture and the food industry.
