The Research and Development Laboratory of the intercollegiate biotechnology faculty of the University of Gdańsk and the Medical University of Gdańsk received the Accreditation Certificate No.AB1760 awarded by the Polish Center for Accreditation.

– For several years, the employees of the Research and Development Laboratory have been conducting research and development and service work in the field of molecular diagnostics of bacterial plant pathogens, commissioned by Polish breeding companies and the State Plant Health and Seed Inspection (PIORiN) – says the head of the laboratory, Prof.. Ewa Łojkowska.

The laboratory cooperates with leading research centers in Poland and abroad. The preparation of the facility for accreditation and the entire accreditation process were financed under the Innovation Incubator 2.0 program implemented by the University of Gdańsk in a consortium with the Gdańsk University of Technology, Gdańsk Medical University and a company Excento Sp. z o.o.
