On December 7, 2021, the rector of the Lodz University of Technology, Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik and the President of the Management Board of ZME EMIT have signed a cooperation agreement launching the Research and Development Center of the ZME EMIT company, part of the Cantoni Group.   

The implementation works carried out by the Center will mainly concern the areas of research carried out at the Institute of Mechatronics and Information Systems, the Institute of Automatic Control and the Institute of Power Engineering – units from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science and Automation and at the Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

The Center will allow EMIT to gain an additional development impulse to effectively compete on the international market of electrical devices, including electrical machines. The employees of Lodz University of Technology will support the company in the improvement and development of its products, in particular in the design of modern energy-saving electric machines. Partners will talk about projects of the High Speed ​​Railway.
