Unmanned aerial vehicles will deliver parcels, control energy networks, industrial installations and protect borders. Polish industry and engineers from Łukasiewicz Network want to have a considerable share in it.

The Łukasiewicz Research Network and its Warsaw Institute of Aviation want to be leaders in supporting business in implementing innovations for the unmanned aerial vehicle market.

-Our partner is even the Nevada Institute for Autonomus Systems (NIAS). Together with the American institute, we are creating the Joint Competence Center in the field of autonomous unmanned systems. As part of this project, we are organizing BSL tests with the participation of leading American scientific and industrial organizations, including NASA. The Łukasiewicz Institute of Aviation is the only Polish institution participating in this unique BSL testing program in the urban area – emphasizes Sylwester Wyka, deputy director of Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation and adds that this project is one of the largest and most dynamically developing projects in the area R&D between Poland and the USA.
