Engineers from Łukasiewicz – Institute of Exploitation Technology in Radom have developed a vending machine for the self-service sale of disposable protective clothing or other similar products.

The developed solution is expected to improve safety in places such as hospitals, clinics and even beauty salons. This is where the proper distribution of disposable protective clothing is of particular importance.

The concept and method of operation of the vending machine developed by Łukasiewicz were created at the request of Biovalley, a manufacturer and supplier of protective equipment.

“Our solution has many advantages. One of the most important is its autonomy, achieved thanks to power from its own battery. This applies both to the mechanisms that automatically dispense the purchased garments and to the cashless payment terminal. Thanks to this, the vending machine functions independently of the mains power supply, also in the event of a mains failure”, emphasises Łukasiewicz – Institute of Exploitation Technology.
