Mazowiecki Public College to hold Polish-German scientific seminar in Płock

On November 18-19, 2019, the Mazowiecki Public College in Płock will host the participants of the seminar “The process of becoming independent of foster pupils – Polish and German experiences”.

The seminar will be a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience between various entities involved in the process of independence of young people: practitioners, representatives of science and representatives of state institutions from Poland and Germany. It will not only be a meeting of experts with students, but also an opportunity to plan a larger research project on the topics discussed.

The seminar is an enterprise organized after obtaining a grant from the Polish-German Foundation for Science. The grant application was submitted by the Mazovian Public University in cooperation with the Naval Academy in Gdynia, the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn and the Elbląg University of Humanities and Economics. The German side include the Legal Research Center SOCLES International Center for Socio-Legal Studies in Heidelberg, the College of Alice Salomon in Berlin, Institute of Social and Organizational Pedagogy, University of Hildesheim, University of Potsdam.
