The Medical University of Poznań has signed a contract with the contractor of the 1st stage of construction of the Central Integrated Clinical Hospital. Under the contract worth PLN 234 million, company Warbud will construct a Hospital Emergency Department with the Center for Emergency and Intervention Medicine and a hospital module.

The first part of the investment will enable the opening of a modern hospital emergency department before the completion of the entire investment, i.e. in 2023. The investment with a total value of PLN 590,978,000 is co-financed from the state budget in the amount of PLN 520,370,000 as part of the long-term program “Central Integrated Clinical Hospital – Interventional Medicine Center (stage 1 CZSK) ”, as well as from the European Union and own funds.

The rest of the budget is allocated from a loan granted by the European Investment Bank with the support of the European Union through the European Fund for Strategic Investments EFSI.2.
