The Medical University of Wrocław is implementing the Wrocław Corona Study 2020 project. The activities are directed at people with newly diagnosed COVID-19 – asymptomatic and limited symptomatic cases. The intention of the project implementers is to conduct a treatment that is intended to reduce the development of the disease.

The creators of the Wrocław Corona Study will offer patients with COVID19 telemedicine supervision (delivered by courier: devices for measuring blood pressure, pulse, saturation, temperature and ECG monitoring) along with the possibility of telephone contact with specialist doctors and cardiologists.

Half of the people will receive an additional offer of treatment with chloroquine under telemedicine supervision for 14 days, followed by a telephone visit on 15 and a visit to an infectious disease clinic on day 42 (at the end of treatment and observation).
