The Medical University of Wrocław has joined the Coalition for AI in Health. This is the next stage in the development of AI issues by the university. 

The Coalition for AI in Health aims to shape the policy for the development of artificial intelligence in the Polish health care system. The main goal is to create an environment that allows the health care system to quickly and widely use the latest advances in AI.

-I have no doubts that AI is a natural and necessary element of the development of medicine today. As a cardiologist, dealing with patients on a daily basis and also a researcher participating in many international projects, I see a great need to integrate and systematize data and optimize a number of processes, including diagnostic ones. I am not afraid of it, just the opposite, I am keenly interested and involved in the development of such an approach, also in my organization – says the rector of the Medical University in Wrocław, Prof. Piotr Ponikowski.
