The Naval Academy in Gdynia will cooperate with Airbus Helicopters in Poland – one of the main research and development centres of the Airbus Helicopters group. The cooperation agreement covers training projects for the Academy’s students and academic staff, as well as cooperation on research and technology projects conducted at the Airbus facilities in Lodz.
The agreement paves the way for the organisation of joint seminars and conferences, lectures on helicopter technology by Airbus Helicopters experts, internships and industrial placements for lecturers and students, as well as cooperation in doctoral studies on current development projects.
At the Airbus Helicopters design office in Łódź and test centre in Stryków, more than 100 Polish engineers and specialists are working on new solutions applicable to both currently manufactured helicopters and demonstrators used in the development of new technologies.
