Professor Wojciech Paszke from the Institute of Automation, Electronics and Electrical Engineering at the University of Zielona Góra has won a grant in the international SHENG competition organised by the National Science Centre. He received PLN 866,000 for his research.

The project ‘Real-time measurement data-driven control and performance optimisation for complex non-linear batch production systems’ will be carried out simultaneously at three universities, the University of Zielona Góra at the Institute of Automatic Control, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, and at two Chinese universities – Dalian University of Technology and Jiangnan University in Wuxi – a partner city of Zielona Góra.

The project will result, among other things, in the publication of more than 30 high-quality scientific articles in renowned international and national journals and conferences in the field of control, and the creation of pilot test benches and application batch control systems.
